You thought the "Doomicon" story ended with the last batch... BUT YOU WERE DREADFULLY WRONG MY FRIENDS!
1.) I used to be on Ritalin. Just a little FYI.
2.) Why is Reynard dashing across a table? That is really unnecessary.
I do like how they're starting to get more tense towards each other at the end.
3.) Okay, NOW I DO COMMENTARY ON THE OTHER SIDE! I hate celebrities, and anyone who knows me personally discovers that really quickly. And while I understand someone being annoyed by fanatical, scary fans, but it seems as though there are a lot of celebrities who take for granted the regular people who put them up on that elevated pedestal of fame. They seem to look down on the people who are essentially the ones putting them in that fancy mansion they live in so lavishly.
There's stupid crap on both ends of the spectrum.
4.) I don't like the way Edgar looks in the first panel.
If you aren't familiar with the term "schadenfreude", LOOK IT UP! It's a great term.
It was really weird for me to draw the last panel. It actually ends with Reynard and Edgar sort of coming out on top. That rarely happens.
And I like the "You-screw-with-us-we-screw-with-you" expressions in the last panel.
5.) Edgar pricking his finger is based on me. If there is a safety-pin, needle, or some other small, pointy device, I will inevitably poke my fingers... a lot.
6.) Why can I not draw school desks to save my life? And what is with Edgar's face? It really bugs me.
Yeah... WE'VE ALL BEEN THERE! One of the treasured moments of out academic lives.
I'm guessing they're probably looking at those gross pictures of STD symptoms.
Sex makes Reynard uncomfortable... very uncomfortable.
"That's schadenfreude!" as sung by Gary Coleman in Avenue Q, though I first learnt that word off the Simpsons. Those Germans really do have a word for everything :-D
Have I ever mentioned before how much I LOVE these two? They are such well developed and engaging characters, I love the odd couple thing they've got going on. You have beautifully portrayed Edgar's mounting frustration and rage with his increasingly mental expressions. And if you ask me Reynard has been asking for that punch for a long time!

I learned that word for the first time from my family. ^.^ We're probably 90% German, so knowing the word "schadenfreude" just seemed to come so naturally.
Awww... thank you.
I've had these two for, I think five years now. They sure as hell had better be well-developed, because if they weren't that would mean I'm a really sucky writer.
Reynard a lot of the time, is practically begging to be punched.

Experimenting is fun. I like making experimental characters.
Draw a monkey, stick a barber's pole with a windsock on it coming out of his head, give hime snakes instead of legs but they dont get on an are always fighting, one arm is a whisk, the other an energy solving lightbulb.
Wow! He's great :-D
Now what do I do with him.... dang.
