HA! You probably thought this was a young couple kissing under romantic moonlight didn't ya?... Actually, you probably didn't. So never mind.
I was trying to experiment with using diluted ink and trying to pick back up some of my watercoloring (I did a ton of watercolor a while ago, but stopped once I started running out of watercolors.) It's a guy. I think he's in some insane asylum. I'd like to think he's saying "I love you," to his hallucination.
I did a little bit of Photoshopping to spiffy this up. Still pansy-footing around whether I really like this or not.
This looks very eerie. I really like the effect of the guys hallucination, it looks like it was done with charcoal. The guy with all the hard edges make him stand out, and add more of a "crazy" look to him. He definitely looks coo-coo. I love the texture you did with his hair, it actually looks like hair. It's really hard to make hair with watercolors. really nice!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I'll admit to the fact that the hair and hallucination were Photoshopped to make them look better. I can't take too much credit for that. XP
