In case you haven't been able to tell already, I'm a big D&D player... and one of my favorite races is the Illithid (also known as the Mind Flayer).

So just for the hell of it, I drew myself as a Illithid (with my cat Muse sitting atop of my head and looking really annoyed.)

Another Photoshop quickkie, so don't get too picky over the Photoshopping here.

Illithids look terribly similar to Cthulhu, and that's just peachy with me.

That cat's expression is just swell.

I'm surprised that legs like this can even hold the weight of a cat as well as the rest of his body hehe.

Now, what on earth is "D&D" and what is Illithids? :P

If truth does not exist, the statement "truth does not exist" is a truth, thereby proving itself incorrect.

Seems interesting. Next time the group's not all there and we do a screw around campaign, I might have to think about an Illithid character.

I do strangely stylized legs.

D&D is short of Dungeons and Dragons... which is a fantasy role-playing game. Illithids are a monster race in the Dungeons and Dragons universe. They basically have those octopus-like heads and eat people's brains. There's a LOT more detail on them, but that's just a REALLY small nutshell of what an Illithid is.

I'm probably going to do an Illithid character for another high-level campaign. My friend was whining about how an Illithid wouldn't make a good character (I think due to it's weird level-adjustment), and my rebuttal was "I DON'T CARE! IT'S A MIND-FLAYER!"

That was mentioned on Wikipedia.

Thanks. She has that expression a lot.

Mhm. I dunno. But last time I did something similar. The game TF2, you know? I made my guy a Heavy because we fucked around(My friend, for example, had an army of 3,000 Martyr-cycle riders traveling behind him).
