My half of an art trade for . I did her Rickin (half chicken/half rabbit... that combo makes me happy) character.
I'm horrible at drawing guitars (the character is a bass-guitar player) so I'm glad the scanner cut most of the guitar off. XP I also have somewhat ambiguous feelings about the background too.
LOVE drawing this character though. She was so fun to do.
OK so when I saw this I said to my flatmate "NOW THAT IS AWESOME!" and she said "what is? myspace?" and I said "NO. THIS", whirled my laptop around and showed her and said "THIS IS HOW GIFTART SHOULD BE" - For some reason I talk in capitals when excited.
But seriously! This is amazing, I love it! The pose, the expression, the bass, it's all really really wicked! Her face looks really great in your style, I love how you drew her tongue hanging out and the piercing! For some reason I really like what you did with the piercing, even though it's a tiny little detail, it just looks really good. And holy crap the ears! You draw her ears so awesome, I love the shape and how angular they are. Aaaaaaaand the feet! I'm such a sucker for well drawn feet and claws and I really like how you did her toes all splayed out like that.
Goddamn now I have to draw something to equal how epicly full of win this is, I hope I don't disappoint!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.

Thanks! I'm so glad you like it. That's what I aim for when I do art trades. ^.^
And I wouldn't worry about you being disappointing. You do good art.
